haha.. we are at Ate Gil's place... gia and mae were few of my friends who were not registered and so were not able to vote... ate gil, on the other hand, had already voted when she was still in jeddah...

so monday, while we are on our way to the park, we decided to take some pictures in a house... [hulaan nyo kung kaninong bahay to... hehe...]

ANGKLA... may pag-asa pa ba?

whew... i praise God for a victorious Angkla crusade at cityhomes resortville... many people received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior [though there were still a lot who immediately left the venue after the presentations]... but there were also others [most of the audience] who stayed but did not respond to the altar call... and for me, that was just fine because i believe that somehow God had already touched their hearts...

it was also good that we met the tambourine dancers of First Uniting Church-cityhomes resortville... they said they were blessed with our dances... for me, i pray that as we bless and inspire them, they will also be a blessing to their church and inspiration to other youth...

well... i was also "Angkla-ed"... haha... i knew God was telling me something... He didn't allow the day to end without me getting the word from Him... while He was touching other people's lives... He is also touching mine... i knew He can sympathize with my tears after that dance which made me frustrated [feeling ko i was not able to give the BEST dance for the Lord... kase ang dami kong mali sa steps...]... but i could also sense His comfort... that He keeps telling me... "I'm looking into Your heart... remember Your prayer before the program started??? your heart matters more than your moves[performance]..." and that's how i realized that God isn't really really not finished with me yet... He's still fixing me up...


thank you Lord for being ever faithful to me...
thank you that You gave Your life for me...

use what's in my hand right now... this is all i have to offer... may this be a sweet offering to you...

finally... after almost 2 years, i was able to sleepover at ate gil's place again...
haha...

sayang nga lang kasi overnight lang kami ni gia dun... may pasok kasi kami ngayon eh... sayang... anyway... magatatagal pa naman si ate gil dito kaya okay lang... haha...

di ba ate gil sabi ni Lord magtatagal ka pa dito sa philippines??? haha...

a promise...

kumusta naman ako???

well, lam ko parang just last saturday lang yata un when i asked God if i could atleast rest for a day... haha... kasi havent had 'tunay na rest' since the summer semester began... pero i was really thinking if i need to rest... kasi parang there was one time na di ko na maalala kung anu nga ba yung sinabi samin ng leader ko basta yun... parang in the end you'll feel guilty of asking for a rest... basta parang ganun... pero answered prayer agad! haha... may scientific meeting daw kasi ung lecturer namin sa biology... ayun...

yesterday, after my class... we went to the dentist... we had our rubber bands [i dont know what it's called] changed.. and ouch! may teeth hurts... [teeth kasi lahat]... hehe... buti nga di kasing sakit nung last time na feeling ko lalagnatin na ko sa sakit...

kakapagod din kasi almost 12mn na ko lagi nakakatulog everday for the past week... since it's vacation time for most of my peers... laging ginagabi ang lakad... kung di naman friends ang kasama... family... basta ganun...

kaya ngayon... i thank God for the time of rest He's granting me today... the rest is really very timely... haha... galing! nakakatuwa... ^_^

on loving the Philippines...

naalala ko lang...

while we were in starbucks tagaytay yesterday with the mendoza family [tito obet, tita raz, ate uann, irish] and kuya kirby.... we bumped into a topic about the philippines...

napagusapan kasi ung issue about working abroad... while i was listening to the conversation... i realized a lot of things... haha... it really feels sad when you open your eyes to the reality....

-more and more people opt to work abroad because you can earn more money there... i think there's nothing wrong about that as long as your only motive is to support your family... but not to bring them with you and settle onto a 'greener pasture'... as long as you support the philippines and not forget you're still a filipino...

-more and more students choose nursing as their future career... not because they like it but because they want or their parents want them to work abroad... again, i have nothing against those people... i just feel bad about it... OTHERS... well, they just plan working abroad... kahit hindi nurse... nakakalungkot pa minsan kasi kahit UP student ganun din iniisip... hindi ba pilipinas at mga pilipino ang nagpapaaral sa atin???

-six days from now, election day na naman... i remember what ptr.ronald quoted in the sunday preaching: 'the promising season ends the election day; the day after the election, alibi season begins and lasts for the next several years'. it's funny but it's true...

anu nang mangyayari sa'tin?? sa bansa natin?

it really feels bad... actually, marami pa ko narealize pero yan na lang post ko for now...
then i read a promise in jeremiah 33... "[v.6] i will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security."
