today's a test of FAITH for me....

grabe naman kasing pahirap ang registration process ng UPD ngayon... pinipilit kasing gawing high tech kahit di pa sufficient and efficient ung facilities... talk about internet connection in AIT, no of computers, etc...


haaay...


pagpray nyo naman po na makuha ko ung T175 and T112 class na need ko for practicum sa summer... kapag hindi ko nakuha yun, di talaga ko makakapagpracticum sa summer... delayed...

ayan...

atlast medyo nagiging familiar na ko sa windows vista... pero marami pa talaga ko kailangan matutunan dito...

sobrang high tech naman kasi to... di talaga ako sanay...

pero atleast nadownload ko na ung mozilla firefox setting nitong desktop... same na sila ng firefox version nung sa laptop...


pero sa mga nagrerequest ng previous pics and songs... di ko pa rin naiilipat dito kasi nasa TCA ung laptop namin since monday... yesterday lang siya kinuha...

ako naman...

tulog agad pagdating kagabi... kapagod naman kasi enrollment namin ngayon...

i'd like to post something sana... kaya lang nakakatamad...

i still have to adjust with our new PC... i'm kinda having a little trouble using windows vusta without MS office... and other softwares we've already uploaded on the laptop... and i'm used to using our laptop kasi... tapos may internet explorer pa'to... e nakakainis kasi un kasi madali makaintercept ng virus... tsk tsk... tapos di pa naayos ung settings to block the pop-up ads... and more plug-ins to be installed...

huhu...

GOOD NEWS PALA! especially to GIA and mitch... and to all my cameradik friends out there... we just bought a digicam... kaya may gagamitin na tayo ulit... mitch, magkakapicture ka na ulit sa mga susunod na debut parties na aattendan natin... hihi...^^

but if you could help me locate any shop that could repair our old digicam, please help me so... nikon pala ung digicam na yun... and, sad to learn, it has no service center in the philippines.. kaya kahit repair shop would be fine... thanks!

that's it for now... still need to pack my things for the PCMC family camp @ lucban... -geeh... kinda excited... ^^-

sweet reminders...

i came from a debut party this evening [sunday na ba ngayon? basta saturday night yung debut.^_^]...

... and i am so excited to report that i am already learning to discipline my eating habits [although not that disciplined yet... haha...] it's not really THAT big deal. yet i am happy to share with you that i haven't eaten pork from the party... kaso i still ate beef teriyaki [kasi naserve na sa plate ko] and chicken [kasi walang veggie]... may salad kaya lang meaty pa rin... but anyway, i'm glad na naalala ko na di na nga pala ko dapat masyado eat ng meat...

... that reminds me of the book i saw at powerbooks ATC [na hanggang ngayon ay inaasam-asam ko pa rin bilhin o na may magregalo sa akin... haha] the book's entitled, "What Would Jesus Eat"... i think it's a biblical approach on eating... ^_^

i was able to attend the worship dept prayer and fasting last friday... [it was the 3rd p&f already according to tita gi]...

... i'm blessed that God has been uniting the worship dept even through prayer and fasting... [Lord, more of those pa po please? ^^]

... we were all blessed... and the worship dept leaders were so glad, they would repeatedly tell us, because the group has been composed more of the young ones [youth and YA]... at nakakatuwa si Lord kasi daming dance ang umattend... di lang leaders pero may mga members din...

... kakatuwa din ung shinare ng isang leader [so sorry, i forgot kung si tita gi, kuya ryan, or ate rolette ba un...]... sabi niya, 'the prayer of a young man is more powerful than anyone else...' [siyempre papasok sa isip mo, di ba mas powerful ang prayer ng bata/child?] oo nga... pero ang mga leaders pala natin, ganito ang naiisip, 'Lord, pa'no mo ba naman hindi sasagutin ang prayer ng mga yan [youth]... imbis na nasa mundo sila at nagbibisyo, naininigarilyo, nagbabarkada, umiinom, e nandito sila... mas pinili nilang manalangin sa'yo... sa lagay na yan, hindi mo pa ba sila pakikinggan???' the moment i heard this narealize ko na 'oo nga Lord noh?!' we just have to add up 'a little more faith, a little more persistence, and a little more perseverance' in our prayer and actions... all we have to do is to believe that God can do great and mighty things that we could ever imagine... minsan, we think God doesn't listen to us anymore... kasi masyado tayo makasalanan para humarap sa Kanya... but actually, all we have to do is to have the courage to come before His Throne of Grace [sa biyaya lang Niya! un lang!] and admit that we have sinned before Him... tapos let us have that faith that expects good results [of course, the results do not always come in a flash...] but we have to believe that God answers and will answer all our prayers... in His perfect time... and in His unique way... [remember Ptr Anthony's 'Buddha! Buddha!' story???] ayun... dapat di tayo ganun... God is and will always be fatithful to us!

will i ever go back to mcdonald's again?

i was able to watch Supersize Me this morning...

it's a docu-film about the effects of fast food to our health... i have actually watched part of it already during my freshman days in college... but today was my first time to view the complete film.

some recalled facts and realizations:

- McNuggets are made with preservatives and chemicals... afterall, do you see nuggets from a chicken? [i wouldn't wonder why this is also called 'McFrankenstein']

- in most public schools in the US, only 6 out of 36 meals served are cooked by the school concessionaire. the rest, preheated... and reheated from the boxes.

- Texas is known as the 'fattest city in America'

- physical education/physical exercise should be 30 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week

- even McSalad has sugar in it... [whaaat? tsk tsk tsk]

- if you eat McDonald's Supersize Meal three times a day for thirty days, you eat as much fat and sugar as you would for eight years... imagine taking up almost 30 lbs of sugar and 12 lbs of fat in just 30 days??? [gross...]

[those are just some effects of fast food in our health]

i think i'm really gonna pursue my vegetarian diet really soon... [of course, tatay and nanay won't allow me to eat just veggies for the rest of my life... -sigh- kaya i still need to eat fish, chicken, milk, or egg for protein and calcium]

but i would be happy if my parents would let me try South Beach Diet... haha... it's s pretty good test of self-control on my part coz although i'm not really a rice person, i eat potatoes and bread a lot... i think it will not test just the physical side of me but the spiritual side also....
